John has been with 1847Financial (formerly Cambridge Financial Group) since 2017 where he focuses on helping clients develop personalized financial strategies using the LEAP® Financial Model. He holds his series 6, 63, and 65 licenses as well as a certification in planning for families with children with special needs.
At heart, John is an educator, teaching his clients economic principles that empower them to make informed and strategic financial decisions. He is particularly passionate about helping special needs families through the complexity of planning to provide financially for children that may not ever be able to be fully independent. This passion stems from his own experience of being the parent of a child with special needs.
John and his wife Janet are the parents of four children and have five delightful grandchildren. Outside of work, John loves to cook, read, water ski, and spend time with his family. John and Janet have called Farmington, Utah, home for the past 23 years.
